For any queries regarding an order, these Terms, or our business, please contact us using the details above.

2. Product Information

We take great care to accurately represent our diamonds and jewelry on the Site. However, please note the following:

  • Natural Variation: As many of our products feature natural diamonds and precious materials, slight variations in size, weight, cut, and colour may occur. Dimensions listed on product pages are approximate and may vary within standard industry tolerances.
  • Display Colour Rendering: Diamond and metal colours displayed on your screen may differ slightly from the actual product due to differences in screen calibration, resolution, lighting, and browser settings. We make every reasonable effort to represent our products accurately, but we cannot guarantee that your device's display will reflect the exact colour or finish of the item received.
  • Certification: Where applicable, diamonds are accompanied by relevant grading certification, details of which are provided on the individual product page.

If you have specific questions about a product's specifications before purchasing, please contact our customer service team.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • VAT Inclusion: All prices displayed on the Site are shown in [GBP/£] and are inclusive of UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable rate, unless otherwise stated. For orders shipped outside the UK, additional import duties, taxes, or customs charges may apply and are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to amend prices at any time; however, changes will not affect orders already confirmed and paid for.
  • Payment Methods: We accept payment via the methods indicated at checkout, which may include major debit/credit cards and third-party payment processors.
  • Payment Processor Terms: All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment provider(s) [e.g., Stripe/PayPal/Shopify Payments — insert actual provider]. By making a payment, you also agree to be bound by that processor's applicable terms of service and privacy policy. Carbon Jewelry does not store your full card details.
  • Order Confirmation: Payment authorisation does not constitute order acceptance; a contract is only formed once we confirm despatch of your order (see Section 4).

4. Order Acceptance & Cancellation

  • Order Acceptance: Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. A binding contract is formed only when we send you a despatch confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraud.
  • Right to Cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013): Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, if you are a consumer purchasing from within the UK, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without giving any reason, except where the item is exempt (see below).
  • Exemptions: Bespoke, personalised, or made-to-order items (including custom-engraved or custom-set jewelry) are exempt from the statutory right to cancel once production has commenced, in accordance with Regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
  • How to Cancel: To exercise your right to cancel, please notify us in writing (by email) within the applicable period, quoting your order number.

5. Delivery & Risk

  • Insured Delivery: All orders are shipped using fully insured, tracked delivery services appropriate to the value of the item.
  • Transfer of Risk: Responsibility for the goods, including risk of loss or damage, remains with Carbon Jewelry until the item is delivered and a signature is obtained upon receipt. Once signed for, risk passes to the customer.
  • Delivery Timeframes: Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout and on the Site; these are indicative and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control (e.g., courier delays, customs processing).
  • Signature Requirement: Given the value of our products, all deliveries require a signature from an adult (18+) at the delivery address. We are unable to leave packages unattended or with neighbours.
  • Failed Delivery: If delivery cannot be completed after reasonable attempts, the item will be returned to us, and we will contact you to arrange re-delivery, which may incur additional charges.

6. Returns & Refunds

  • Statutory Cancellation Right: As noted in Section 4, UK consumers have a statutory right to cancel eligible orders within 14 days of receipt under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
  • Extended Commercial Return Window: In addition to your statutory rights, Carbon Jewelry offers an extended 30-day return window from the date of delivery for eligible, non-personalised items, allowing you additional time to decide.
  • Return Conditions: To qualify for a return, items must be unworn, undamaged, in their original condition, and returned with all original packaging, certification, and tags intact.
  • Refund Process: Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 14 days. Original delivery charges are refunded only where the statutory 14-day cancellation right applies; return postage costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Bespoke, personalised, custom-engraved, or made-to-order pieces are not eligible for return under the extended commercial window, except where faulty or not as described, in accordance with your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
  • Faulty or Damaged Goods: If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or not as described, please contact us within a reasonable time of receipt to arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund, in line with your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

7. Governing Law

These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, save that consumers resident elsewhere in the UK may also bring proceedings in their local courts as permitted by law.
